I currently offer two types of online maths tuition, depending on the level of support your child needs.If after the first lesson you feel it isn’t the right fit, just let me know and I’ll refund you in full.Option 1: 1-to-1 Maths Tuition (GCSE & A-Level)Fully personalised online tuition focused on building understanding, confidence, and exam performance.Suitable for:
• GCSE Maths
• A-Level Maths & Further Maths
• Students with specific topics to work on or those wanting tailored exam preparationDetails:
• One-to-one online lessons via Zoom
• Flexible focus on individual needs
• £55 per 60-minute lessonThis option is ideal for students who benefit from a fully individual pace, targeted explanations, or bespoke exam preparation.Option 2: A-Level / GCSE Maths – Exam-Focused Problem Solving (Small Group)(2-6 students per group)Small-group online sessions designed to improve exam technique and confidence through high-quality problem solving.Details:
• Weekly 60-minute online sessions
• Small groups (maximum 6 students)
• Ability-matched groups
• £30 per student per session
• Booked in 6-week blocks (£180 total)Sessions focus on working through carefully selected exam-style problems together, with an emphasis on technique, understanding, and common pitfalls. For A-level, example topics include differentiation, integration, vectors, algebraic techniques, and other core content.These sessions are best suited to motivated students aiming for strong exam performance and strong university offers.Grouping with friends
If you already have two or more students in mind (for example, friends studying together), feel free to get in touch. I’m very happy to place students in the same group where appropriate and will build group times around initial requests where possible.How Lessons WorkAll lessons are held online using Zoom, with links and passwords shared ahead of the first session.Lessons are interactive and problem-focused. Each session begins with a brief recap of the previous week before moving on to new exam-relevant problems. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explain their thinking, and actively engage throughout.I expect students to get stuck, feel confused at times, and make mistakes - this is a normal and essential part of learning maths well.In my experience, the more high-quality problems students understand and solve before exams, the stronger their exam performance tends to be. • We’ll briefly discuss suitability and availability
• I’ll send a secure Stripe payment link to book a 6-week block of lessons
• Zoom details and reminders are shared before lessons begin, I'll be in touch within 24 hours of paymentFor small-group sessions, students are expected to join from the start of the 6-week block to ensure continuity and progression. I can record lessons in the case that students miss a lesson and wish to catch up.
